What an International Criminal Record Report is
An International Criminal Record Report (ICRR) is a document in your name. Overseas employers, visa posts, hospitals, schools and contractors often ask for it before they will let you start. Your ICRR is a private application service: you apply, we verify who you are, and we email the issued report to you.
We are not a police force, a court, a government department, or the organisation that decides whether your report is accepted. That decision always sits with the body that asked for it. Check their list before you pay.
Why people apply here
Many recruitment agencies will not open a file until an employer pays them. That leaves you waiting. Your ICRR is built so you can move on your own timetable. There is no employer portal and no bulk order screen. If someone else needs a report, they apply themselves.
What we will not do
Accept an employer or relative applying in your name, merge two people’s files, or promise that every hospital, embassy or contractor will accept the document.
Where reports are commonly used
Applicants typically present an ICRR when they are asked for an international criminal record check as part of:
- Healthcare, social care and hospital onboarding
- Aviation, airports and airside passes
- Private security and close protection
- Schools, universities and education contractors
- Government and defence contractor roles
- Overseas employment and some visa supporting documents
Requirements change by country and by organisation. Some bodies want a police certificate from a specific country instead. If their written list names a different document, do not assume an ICRR will replace it.
What we ask you to upload
Every file includes the same identity pack. The 12-day or 5-day clock does not start until this pack is accepted.
- Photo ID. Passport photo page only, or the front and back of a national ID card or driving licence.
- Document number that matches the ID you upload.
- Proof of address from the last three months: electricity bill, water bill or bank statement. The name and address must match the form.
- Two photos. One holding the ID next to your face. One of your face only, without the ID.
Blurry, cropped or filtered images delay the file. Use clear light and show the full document.
What the fee covers — and what it does not
Basic (£179.99) and Priority (£189.99) cover the application, KYC review, issuance and email delivery. They do not automatically include apostilles, sworn translations, printed copies or courier dispatch. Ask us in writing if you need those extras before you assume they are included.
